Use tool ↗About Cactal
Cactal is a website platform whose primary user is a coding agent rather than a person. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or anything that speaks MCP connects through an SDK or API and can create pages, edit content through a headless CMS, attach a domain, publish with version history and rollback, set SEO metadata and read analytics. Sites are generated as actual React code, not template instances, so the output stays editable outside the platform. Cactal, Inc. sells a free tier with no card, and a 20-dollar Pro plan that covers one site on your own domain; each additional site is another 20 dollars a month on any plan.

Pros & cons of Cactal
Most site builders assume a human clicking around; Cactal assumes an agent making API calls, which removes the awkward step where your coding assistant writes a site it cannot deploy. Versioned publishing with rollback is the feature that makes agent-driven edits survivable. Pricing is per site, so a portfolio of client sites adds up quickly.
Pros
- MCP server, API and SDK so agents can create, edit and publish without a browser
- Publishing is versioned with rollback, which matters when an agent makes the edit
- Output is real React code rather than a proprietary template format
- Managed hosting, storage, bandwidth, custom domains and analytics bundled
- Unlimited team members with per-site roles even on the paid tier
Cons
- $20 per site per month scales linearly — ten sites is $200
- No visual editor; the intended operator is an agent or a developer
- Company is young and no launch year or track record is published
Best for
- Letting a coding agent ship and maintain a site end to end
- Developers who want hosting plus CMS behind one MCP connection
- Small sites where React output must stay portable
Not for
- Teams that want a visual drag-and-drop editor
- Agencies running many sites on a fixed budget
Watch out: The $20 Pro plan buys one custom-domain site, not unlimited sites — the second one costs the same again.
