What our research says

Bazaart

Fourteen years of mobile editing work shows in the app quality, and the pivot to merchant-focused AI - on-model shots, studio photos, product video - fits the audience it already had. It is a genuine alternative to Canva for someone working from a phone. Buying it blind is the problem: no price is published anywhere outside the app stores.

Pros

  • Ten-plus AI tools including on-model photos, studio shots, photoshoot backdrops and product video
  • More than 5,000 templates and a stated 20 million stock assets included
  • One account spans iOS, Android and the web
  • Trading since 2012 with App Store and Google Play awards and 500,000+ five-star reviews

Cons

  • No pricing page, no price anywhere on the website - you must install to find out
  • No company registration, address or country is published
  • No API and no batch processing for catalogue-scale work
  • Feature parity between the web version and the mobile apps is not documented

Tinker

A free grab-bag of single-purpose generators that works because the tools are narrow: product morph, virtual try-on and 3D floor plan each do one thing rather than asking you to prompt your way there. Backed by Shopify, which is why it is free and why the tool mix leans commercial. The limits are structural - mobile only, no export pipeline, and no commitment that a free app stays around.

Pros

  • Every tool and AI feature is free, with no credits or paid tier
  • Narrow presets like product morph video, virtual try-on and 3D floor plan need no prompt craft
  • Backed by Shopify, with sign-in reusing an existing Shopify account
  • Covers video, image, 3D and comics in one app rather than four

Cons

  • Mobile only - iOS 15 or Android 10 minimum, no browser version
  • No API, no batch mode and no documented export pipeline
  • Tool selection is fixed; there is no general-purpose generation mode
  • A free product with no revenue model can be discontinued with little notice
