Voice journal that transcribes spoken entries into summaries, themes and goals
Audio Diary is a journal you talk to rather than type into. Each recording is transcribed and analysed into a written entry plus a summary, tags, recurring themes and suggested goals, with side features such as dream analysis and custom themes. It targets people who want a reflection habit but stall at the blank page, and it stores audio encrypted on AWS under an agreement that bars the model provider from training on entries. Clients exist for iOS, Android, macOS and the browser, and a full export of audio, transcripts, markdown and a printable PDF is available on free accounts as well as paid ones.
The marketing site publishes no price list at all; the subscription is sold inside the app, and the App Store listing shows a $10.99 monthly and a $59.99 annual plan. The free tier works but with roughly a tenth of the paid recording time, and the vendor states it will not offer a lifetime option.
Use tool โA well-executed voice journal whose strongest selling point is not the AI but the exit door: full export of audio, transcripts, markdown and PDF is available even on the free tier. The catch is that no price appears anywhere on the website, so you only learn the cost at the in-app paywall.
Watch out: The '96% of people feel better' figure on the homepage rests on a survey of 100 of their own users, which is marketing evidence rather than a clinical result.
