Use tool ↗About ApiFlux
ApiFlux is a multi-provider AI gateway: it exposes a single, OpenAI-compatible endpoint that can route requests to more than a hundred models across Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen, and other providers, with automatic failover if one provider goes down. There's no subscription — users pre-pay a balance and are billed per token or per request at a rate the vendor prices at 85 percent of each model maker's own list price, with a small free credit for new accounts. A live dashboard tracks usage, latency, and cost per request or per team member, and the API works as a drop-in replacement for existing OpenAI-SDK code.

Pros & cons of ApiFlux
ApiFlux's core pitch — one key, over a hundred models, automatic failover, priced below list — is a common shape for this category right now, and the OpenAI-compatible endpoint makes switching low-friction for anyone already using that SDK. The discount and reliability claims depend entirely on ApiFlux staying solvent and fast as a middleman, which is a real question for a routing layer run by an LLC registered in 2026.
Pros
- OpenAI-compatible endpoint means minimal code changes to switch
- Automatic failover across providers if one goes down
- Transparent, published discount (85% of list price) rather than an opaque markup
Cons
- No subscription or committed-spend option, only a prepaid balance
- The operator is a Wyoming LLC formed in 2026 at a registered-agent address, with no named team
- Adding a third-party gateway is an extra point of failure between you and the model provider
Best for
- Developers who want one integration point instead of separate SDKs per model provider
- Teams that want automatic failover across providers without building it themselves
- Cost-sensitive projects that benefit from the below-list-price token rate
Not for
- Teams that need direct, uncached access to a single provider for compliance reasons
- High-reliability production systems uncomfortable adding a third-party routing layer between them and the model
Watch out: No data-retention or logging policy is prominent on the homepage; confirm what happens to prompts and outputs before routing sensitive data through it.
