What our research says

AIGF

It does one small thing and the flow is four clicks, which is the whole appeal. The group mode for multiple people is a nice touch most poster generators skip. Everything else is a warning sign: no company, no terms, no privacy policy, no prices — and it wants a photo of your face.

Pros

  • Four-step flow from selfie to downloadable poster with no settings to configure
  • A separate mode handles groups rather than single portraits only
  • A catalogue of target posters to pick from instead of prompt writing
  • No price appears at any point in the flow

Cons

  • No company, country, terms of service or privacy policy is published
  • Contact is two personal email addresses at free mail providers
  • No pricing page, so the commercial model is unknowable in advance
  • Requires an account and a photo of your face before it does anything

Remini

One of the strongest one-tap fixes for faces and old family photos, which is why its user numbers are so large. The catch is pricing structure: weekly auto-renewing subscriptions sold in-app with no public price list, which makes casual use expensive if you forget to cancel.

Pros

  • Face reconstruction quality is the product's core strength
  • Runs on web, iOS and Android with the same account
  • Free tier exists for occasional single-photo jobs
  • Handles video enhancement, not just stills

Cons

  • Weekly subscription framing obscures the real annual cost
  • Prices differ by region and platform and are only visible at checkout
  • Aggressive enhancement can invent facial detail, a known trait of face-restoration models
