Pros & cons of Adobe Podcast
Enhance Speech is still the single best free fix for bad spoken audio, and the rest of Adobe Podcast is an afterthought around it. Treat it as a filter you visit, not a studio you move into.
Pros
- The enhancement quality on speech is still ahead of most paid denoisers
- Usable free tier that is a real product, not a watermarked demo
- Runs entirely in the browser with no install
- Paid access now comes bundled with Firefly Pro's generative credits
Cons
- The filter over-processes: heavy sibilance and an artificial timbre on already-clean audio
- No strength control at all on the free tier, so it is all or nothing
- Free tier is audio-only, video needs Premium
- Premium is no longer sold standalone; new buyers must take the broader Firefly Pro plan
Best for
- Rescuing interviews, Zoom recordings and phone audio recorded in bad rooms
