10Web vs SlateHut

Two fact sheets from our own research, side by side — pricing, platforms, API access and status re-checked by us rather than quoted from the vendors. 10Web publishes a starting price ($10); SlateHut does not. Only SlateHut has a free tier. Both ship a public API.

What our research says

10Web

Pick 10Web when you want AI-generated sites you can hand to a client on real WordPress rather than a proprietary editor you can never leave. If you are building a web application rather than a marketing site, this is the wrong shape of tool.

Pros

  • Output is portable WordPress, so there is no proprietary page format to migrate off later
  • Hosting, CDN, SSL and backups arrive on the same bill as the builder
  • Agency tiers push the per-site cost down sharply at volume
  • Public builder API with a JavaScript SDK for embedding site generation into your own product

Cons

  • AI credits are metered per plan and regenerating pages consumes them quickly
  • Monthly visitor caps on the lower tiers are low for anything that gets real traffic
  • The entry plan covers a single website only
  • API pricing is quote-only, so there is no way to budget without a sales call

SlateHut

SlateHut is a fast way to get a working, hosted website out of a prompt, with the CMS and form handling most small businesses need already wired in. The free tier is thin (about one AI generation a month) and the paid pricing is not published, so budget-conscious buyers will need to sign up to see real numbers.

Pros

  • Combines generation, visual editing, hosting and forms in one dashboard
  • API access is available on paid plans
  • Free plan needs no credit card to start

Cons

  • Paid plan prices are not published anywhere on the site
  • Free tier's AI credit allowance is small (about one generation a month)
