Pros & cons of Verbatik
Verbatik has moved from a $1-for-a-day hook into a conventional credit subscription, and the cheap API is now the clearest reason to look at it: stock-voice speech at a fifth of a cent per thousand characters, no plan required. The web plans are harder to size because 200 credits a month is not explained in minutes or characters on the page, and the voice counts still disagree with each other across the site.
