What our research says

Rytr

Rytr is the option you pick when the budget is the constraint and the copy is short and disposable. Anyone whose output has to carry a brand or rank in search will outgrow it inside a month.

Pros

  • Genuinely cheap, at roughly a quarter to a third of what comparable writers charge
  • Unlimited generations from the entry paid tier, not metered credits
  • Plagiarism checking is bundled rather than sold as an add-on

Cons

  • The documented API endpoint no longer resolves and the API is not listed on any published plan
  • Free tier's 10,000 characters is exhausted in a handful of generations
  • Only one language on Free and Unlimited, 35+ is gated behind the $29 tier
  • No published company entity or jurisdiction anywhere on the site

Valemtimes

A thirty-second novelty that does exactly what the headline says and asks nothing in return. There is no depth to it: one template, one output length, one occasion, and no way to keep or refine what it writes.

Pros

  • No account, no card, no email capture
  • Two name fields and one keyword is the entire input
  • Share buttons built in for sending the result
  • Loads as a plain page with no app shell

Cons

  • Single fixed template with no tone or length control
  • Keyword input is limited to 32 characters
  • Nothing is saved; refresh and the letter is gone
  • Seasonal stunt with no support or roadmap

  • Testing whether AI copy helps at all before committing to a $40+ tool

Choose Valemtimes if you need

  • A last-minute Valentine's card line
  • Sending something silly to a partner
  • Seeing an agency side project done tastefully
