What our research says

Postfox

Postfox now solves a team problem rather than a creator one: instead of ten employees resharing the same caption, each gets a post written from their own work and has to approve it before it runs. The approval-first design and the flagging of untraceable details are careful choices. At $150–190 a month for ten seats it is priced for companies running regular LinkedIn campaigns, not for an individual who wants help with their own posts.

Pros

  • Writes a distinct post per person from one brief, instead of a shared caption
  • Nothing publishes without the named employee's approval; declining is silent to the admin
  • Flags any detail in a draft it cannot trace to the brief or to what the person said
  • Publishes through LinkedIn's official API from each person's own account
  • Free single-post tools remain available without signup

Cons

  • LinkedIn only
  • Minimum spend is a 10-person plan at $150–190 a month, with no individual tier
  • Run by a sole trader, so continuity rests on one person
  • LinkedIn connections expire every 60 days and have to be renewed by each employee

Typoro

Typoro's angle is agents that research and write on a recurring weekly schedule rather than a one-off generator prompted each time. Because the main site blocked automated fetching during this review, the pricing and feature claims here rest on secondary sources rather than a direct look at the product.

Pros

  • Agents work on a recurring weekly cadence instead of one-off prompts
  • Knowledge base integration lets posts draw on the user's own material
  • Built-in analytics feed performance data back into future content
  • Entry price is lower than several competing LinkedIn writing tools

Cons

  • The vendor's own site returned an access-denied error during research, limiting first-hand verification
  • Limited to LinkedIn only
  • No information available on who runs the company or where it is based
