Use tool ↗About OpenParser AI
OpenParser AI indexes documents, SQL databases and live websites, then answers plain-English questions against them with citations down to the page, row or paragraph. On top of the Q&A sit more than 30 prebuilt agents for work such as clause extraction, risk registers, lease abstraction, PII and PHI scans, and invoice-against-PO checks, plus a builder for custom agents. It connects to Google Drive and SharePoint with auto-sync and lets an organization bring its own approved language model. It is built by Innovatix Technology Partners of Bedminster, New Jersey, and sold as per-seat SaaS or as a self-hosted edition for teams that cannot send documents to a public cloud.

Pros & cons of OpenParser AI
OpenParser AI is aimed at back-office teams handling contracts and compliance documents rather than casual chat-with-PDF users - the 20+ prebuilt agents for contract review and compliance checks are the actual product, with general Q&A as the entry point. The on-prem option matters for regulated teams but comes with no visible price.
Pros
- 20+ prebuilt agents for specific document workflows, not just open-ended chat
- Answers are cited back to source documents
- Clear per-seat price ($30/user/month) with a no-card 15-day trial
Cons
- On-prem pricing is entirely custom-quoted with no ballpark given
- No API availability mentioned anywhere on the site
- Per-seat pricing can get expensive for larger document teams
Best for
- Legal, procurement, and compliance teams reviewing documents at volume
- Organizations needing cited, source-linked answers rather than free-form chat
Not for
- Individuals wanting a cheap personal PDF chatbot
- Teams needing pricing certainty for an on-prem deployment upfront
