What our research says

OfoxAI

OfoxAI's whole pitch is the swap-the-base-URL simplicity of staying OpenAI/Anthropic-compatible while gaining access to 100+ models, which removes the integration cost of testing a new provider. Pricing is genuinely pay-as-you-go with no subscription, but per-model rates span two orders of magnitude, so the actual bill depends heavily on which models get used.

Pros

  • OpenAI/Anthropic-compatible endpoints mean no SDK rewrite to switch providers
  • No platform fee — pricing is pass-through usage rates, not a markup subscription
  • Covers text, image, and video generation through the same gateway

Cons

  • Per-model pricing varies enormously, from under a dollar to tens of dollars per million tokens, so costs need active monitoring
  • As a routing middleman, reliability depends on both OfoxAI's own uptime and the underlying providers it wraps
  • A small, newly identifiable Singapore entity rather than an established infrastructure vendor

PoYo AI

PoYo's value is consolidation, one API and one billing relationship instead of five separate provider accounts, which matters most to teams already juggling multiple model providers in production. Non-expiring, pay-only-for-success credits are a genuinely user-friendly billing choice, though per-model rates still vary enough that costs need modeling per use case.

Pros

  • Covers five different generation categories through one account instead of five
  • Credits don't expire and failed generations aren't billed
  • Async two-endpoint workflow with webhook support fits production pipelines better than a synchronous call

Cons

  • No company name, founders, or location disclosed anywhere on the site
  • Per-model pricing varies widely, so total cost still requires per-model calculation rather than one flat rate
  • As a middleman aggregator, uptime and pricing depend on relationships with the underlying model providers it wraps

Which one fits

Choose OfoxAI if you need

  • Developers who want to test or mix multiple LLM providers without rewriting SDK calls
  • Teams already using OpenAI-compatible tooling who want a drop-in multi-model backend
  • Cost-sensitive projects that want to route cheap tasks to budget models and pay premium rates only where needed

Choose PoYo AI if you need

  • Developers integrating several generation model types (image, video, music, chat) who want one API surface
  • Production teams that prefer usage-based billing over a flat subscription
  • Teams that want to swap underlying models without rewriting integration code
