What our research says

Jasper

Jasper's case against a plain ChatGPT seat is governance: brand voice, style guide and product facts are enforced on every draft and shared by the whole team, and the Business tier turns that into bulk grids and custom agents. At $59 to $69 a seat it only pays off for a marketing team that ships a lot of on-brand copy; a solo writer gets most of the value from a frontier chat subscription at a third of the price.

Pros

  • Brand voice, style guide and knowledge base are applied to every output rather than pasted into prompts
  • Canvas editor, prebuilt agents and a browser extension cover drafting where marketers already work
  • Business tier includes API access, custom agent builder and bulk Grid generation
  • Named Delaware-style entity with public leadership, SOC 2 Type II and a 7-day trial

Cons

  • Pro ships with one seat and only 2 brand voices, 3 audiences and 5 knowledge assets
  • Business pricing is custom and locked to a 12-month commitment, with credit metering for GEO and agents
  • API access is Business-only, so developers cannot start on the self-serve plan
  • The page's structured data still describes a five-user Pro plan and a Creator trial that the visible page no longer offers

Typeface

Typeface makes sense for a large marketing organisation whose real problem is keeping hundreds of generated assets on brand and auditable, not for anyone who just wants better copy; the brand-graph and agent governance are what you pay for. It competes with Jasper and Writer at the enterprise end and with Adobe's own GenStudio, and like them it hides the price behind a sales process.

Pros

  • Brand guidelines, assets and audience data are structured so agents can be held to them, not pasted into a prompt
  • Agents handle planning, production and checking as a loop, with performance data fed back in
  • Works inside Figma and Adobe creative tools and connects through MCP and APIs
  • Founder-led by a former Adobe CTO, with investors including GV, Lightspeed, Madrona, Menlo, M12 and Salesforce Ventures

Cons

  • No public pricing or trial; evaluation means a sales cycle
  • The platform has been reorganised around agents and the Arc suite recently, so parts of it are new and the roadmap shifts
  • Overkill for anyone without a brand-governance problem
  • Integration partners are shown as logos rather than documented connectors on the public site

Which one fits

Choose Jasper if you need

  • Marketing teams producing campaign copy across channels that must sound like one brand
  • Enterprises that need SSO, admin groups and an API to wire generation into their content stack
  • Agencies managing several brand voices and audiences under one account

Choose Typeface if you need

  • Enterprise marketing teams producing campaign assets at volume under strict brand governance
  • Companies that want agents to run campaign workflows inside Salesforce, Microsoft or Google tooling with IT controls
  • Creative teams that need generation to live inside Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator rather than a separate editor
