What our research says

Izbaviz

A tidy virtual-staging tool with five well-scoped edits rather than one vague restyle button, and pay-per-credit pricing that suits occasional use. Decluttering and repainting are the ones that earn their keep for property listings. It renders a plausible photo, not a buildable plan, and the credit cost jumps eightfold at 4K.

Pros

  • Five distinct operations rather than a single restyle, including declutter and repaint
  • Credits never expire and there is no subscription to cancel
  • Turnaround is well under a minute per render at standard quality
  • Refund policy on unused credits within 14 days, which is unusual in this category

Cons

  • A 4K render costs eight times a standard one, so the headline credit counts overstate what a 4K job costs
  • No API and no batch pipeline for large photo sets
  • Output is a plausible visualisation, not a measured design, and furniture is not sourceable

RoomGPT

The fastest way to answer "what would this room look like in a different style", and the no-expiry credit model suits people who use it twice a year rather than twice a day. Treat the output as a mood board, not something a contractor can build from.

Pros

  • Credits are a one-time purchase with no expiry, confirmed in the vendor's own fulfillment policy
  • Single-photo input with no modelling, measuring or scene setup
  • Turnaround is fast enough to iterate live in front of a client

Cons

  • Output is a render with no dimensions, product links or shopping list
  • No API, no batch upload and no team workspace
  • Run by a single developer, so support and roadmap rest on one person
  • A discount code is permanently displayed on the site, which makes the list price hard to take at face value
