No price could be confirmed today: inkey.ai and its pricing page return 403 and the app host no longer has a deployment. The plans last seen in September (free 1,000 words a month, Starter $4.99) could not be re-checked on the vendor's site.
Use tool ↗About Inkey
Inkey bundles the tools a student normally collects across four subscriptions into one account: essay drafting and editing, maths word-problem solving, paraphrasing, grammar correction, a plagiarism check and an AI-content detector, with more than 30 tools in total. It runs entirely in the browser at app.inkey.ai. Plans are metered in words rather than documents, which is the thing to check before subscribing — the free Basic tier gives 1,000 words a month with no card and is described as free for life, Starter is $4.99 a month for 10,000 words, and Premium, Ultimate and Unlimited step up at $9.95, $19.95 and $29.95. No operating company or country is named on the site.

Pros & cons of Inkey
The value is consolidation: paraphrasing, a plagiarism check and an AI detector under one $4.99 subscription costs less than any one of them bought separately. A free-for-life tier lets you test it honestly. The catch is the word meter — 10,000 words a month is a couple of long essays, and everything you run through any of the 30 tools draws on the same pool.
Pros
- More than 30 student tools under a single subscription
- Plagiarism checking and AI detection included rather than sold as add-ons
- Maths word-problem solving alongside the writing tools
- Free tier is permanent at 1,000 words a month with no card
Cons
- Word quotas are shared across every tool, so a paraphrase costs the same budget as an essay
- No operating company, country or team is disclosed anywhere on the site
- No API and no editor or browser integration
- Five tiers separated mostly by word count rather than capability
Best for
- Students who currently pay for a paraphraser and a plagiarism checker separately
- Coursework that mixes written assignments with maths problems
- Testing a writing tool without a card
Not for
- Heavy writers — the word allowances run out fast at every tier
- Institutions needing an integrity system with reporting and an audit trail
Watch out: It sells an AI detector and AI writing tools to the same student. If your institution treats AI-assisted drafting as misconduct, the detector on this account will not protect you from that.
