What our research says

Infographic Ninja

A narrow tool that does one SEO job: turn a topic into an FAQ infographic plus the schema markup to go with it, cheaply and in bulk. That combination is genuinely unusual. Everything around it is rough — dead links, a domain migration mid-flight, no company identity — so treat it as a $5 utility, not a platform.

Pros

  • Generates questions and answers from a keyword, article URL or PDF
  • Exports FAQPage schema.org markup alongside the image
  • Template customisation covers icons, 30+ fonts and brand colours
  • WordPress embed and social sharing built in
  • Free demo runs with no signup or card

Cons

  • No company name, address or country published anywhere
  • Membership-levels page and the linked demo path both 404
  • Domain migration from infographic.ninja to outline.ninja leaves stale links across the web
  • Starter tier gives only 15 credits a month
  • Output is template-bound and will look repetitive across a site

Piktochart

A veteran template tool that got AI generation bolted on rather than rebuilt around it, which is mostly a good thing: the templates are the product and the prompt just gives you a starting draft. Cheaper than Canva at the entry tier, but the free plan is tight enough that two downloads a month makes it a trial, not a plan.

Pros

  • Template library built specifically for infographics and data-heavy reports
  • AI drafts infographics, decks, flyers and banners from a text prompt
  • Brand assets and shared team workspaces on paid tiers
  • Entry paid tier at $10 per member/month annually undercuts most rivals
  • Bootstrapped and profitable since 2011, so no shutdown risk from a funding cliff

Cons

  • Free tier is limited to 1 GB storage and two PNG downloads a month
  • No API and no programmatic generation
  • Priced per member, so team cost scales linearly
  • The site blocks automated readers, so pricing had to be verified indirectly

Which one fits

Choose Infographic Ninja if you need

  • SEO teams producing FAQ visuals and structured data at volume
  • Bloggers who want an embeddable graphic plus FAQPage markup from one pass
  • Agencies needing many low-cost infographics rather than a few polished ones

Choose Piktochart if you need

  • Reports and infographics where a chart-heavy template beats a blank canvas
  • Non-designers in marketing, HR or education producing recurring visual documents
  • Small teams that want brand colours and fonts locked into shared templates
