Team is $20 per learner seat per month with a 10-seat minimum, so $200 a month to start, after a free trial. Enterprise (bulk pricing over 100 seats) is quoted and is the only tier with SSO, LMS/LTI, API and MCP access. The former Personal plan and free tier are no longer listed.
Use tool ↗About Honen
Honen takes material an organisation already has, such as files, slide decks, recorded sessions or just a topic, and builds a structured course from it in nine formats: readings, flashcards, quizzes, lectures, podcasts, comics, games, jam sessions and AI chat, plus AI video lessons. Learners get a chat and voice tutor tied to the material, and admins assign courses, track progress and export SCORM packages or publish a branded course site. It is built by StudyFetch, Inc., the US company behind the student study app, and is now sold per team seat rather than to individuals.

Pros & cons of Honen
Honen is the training-department version of StudyFetch: feed it the deck and the recording, get back a course a learner can work through, with a tutor attached. The nine output formats are the real draw, and SCORM export lets it hand off to an existing LMS. It is now a team product only: the entry point is ten seats at $200 a month, and anything integration-shaped (API, SSO, LMS embedding) sits behind the quoted Enterprise tier.
Pros
- Nine generated learning formats from one upload, including podcasts, games and AI video lessons
- Voice and chat tutor attached to the learner's own material
- SCORM export and shareable course sites on the Team tier
- SOC 2 Type II and a no-training-on-your-content commitment
Cons
- Ten-seat minimum puts the entry price at $200 a month
- API, MCP, SSO and LMS/LTI integration are Enterprise-only and quoted
- Generated assessments still need a human pass before they go to learners
Best for
- Turning existing decks and recordings into structured onboarding
- Training teams that want quizzes and flashcards generated for them
- Teams that need SCORM packages for an existing LMS
Not for
- Individuals or very small teams: the minimum is ten paid seats
- Anyone needing API or LMS integration without an enterprise contract
Watch out: The pricing page leads with $20 a seat, but Team bills a 10-seat minimum, so the smallest real bill is $200 a month; the old Personal plan and free tier are gone.
