What our research says

Floyo

Floyo removes the GPU-ownership barrier to running ComfyUI, which normally requires a local install and a capable graphics card, and adds team and compliance features aimed at studios rather than hobbyists. The entry plan is cheap, but its two GPU hours a month go quickly on video, so budget for the $9-an-hour top-ups.

Pros

  • No local GPU or ComfyUI installation required
  • Editing and building workflows is free — metering applies only to actual GPU generation time
  • Access to a large library of models, custom nodes, and LoRAs
  • Developer API for teams embedding workflows into other tools

Cons

  • The entry plan includes only 2 GPU hours a month, and video workflows use that fast
  • Metered GPU billing makes total monthly cost hard to predict in advance
  • Node-based ComfyUI workflows still require more setup knowledge than a plain text-to-image tool

Runpod

Runpod is a practical choice for indie developers, researchers and startups who want a GPU in minutes at a lower hourly rate than the hyperscalers. Teams with strict compliance needs should stick to Secure Cloud or a hyperscaler, and anyone forgetful about idle resources should watch storage charges.

Pros

  • Low hourly GPU rates with no commitment
  • Serverless endpoints scale down when idle
  • Wide range of GPUs from consumer cards to data-centre parts
  • API and templates for common AI stacks

Cons

  • Community Cloud runs on third-party hosts with variable availability
  • Storage keeps billing even when pods are stopped
  • Popular GPUs can be out of stock in a given region

Which one fits

Choose Floyo if you need

  • Creative teams running ComfyUI workflows who don't want to maintain local GPU rigs
  • Studios needing shared credits and compliance controls across several artists

Choose Runpod if you need

  • Developers fine-tuning or serving open models on a budget
  • Startups running bursty inference on serverless GPUs
  • Researchers who need a specific GPU for a few hours
