COACH is a career-coaching assistant built by CareerVillage.org, the nonprofit behind the volunteer career Q&A site. It walks students, job seekers and nursing candidates through readiness activities — exploring paths, preparing applications, practising interviews — and it is free without limits for individuals. The money comes from institutions: schools, colleges and workforce programs either license seats for their users or embed COACH through an API or widget and pay per token. Institutional plans add dashboards, assignments, SSO and educator-level reporting, and the vendor cites SOC 2 and FERPA compliance for those deployments.
Individuals get unlimited access at no cost, described on the pricing page as always free. Institutions choose between an Integration plan from $0.20 per thousand tokens and an Institutional License from $12 per licence annually, both with a one-time setup fee that is quoted rather than listed.
