Bookclub.ai was a book discovery site that recommended what to read next from a large catalogue organised by genre, by series and by bestseller and celebrity reading lists, with a machine-learning model doing the matching. The single-page front end still loads, but the services behind it are gone: the endpoint that served book data now answers that its hosting product has reached end of life, and the recommendation model endpoint no longer exists. The sitemap still lists tens of thousands of book pages, all dated November 2022, and no operator is named on the site.

Pros & cons of Bookclub.ai
Browsing by celebrity list or series was a nicer way in than a search box when you did not know what to read next, but Bookclub.ai no longer works as a product. The page shell loads, the book-data service behind it was retired by its host and the recommendation model is gone, and with content frozen at November 2022 and no named operator there is no sign anyone will restore it.
