Use tool ↗About BeatBun
BeatBun turns a short description or your own lyrics into a finished song, with a simple mode for a one-line prompt and a custom mode for lyrics, style tags and instrumental tracks. Around the generator sit smaller tools: a lyric and song-title writer, a song extender, a voice cover that swaps the vocals on a track, MIDI export for editing in a DAW, photo-to-music and an album cover generator. It is aimed at creators who need background music or quick demos without a composer. Downloads and commercial use start on the paid plans.

Pros & cons of BeatBun
BeatBun is a text-to-song generator that has grown a toolbox around it: song extension, vocal swapping, MIDI export and lyric writing sit next to the main generator. The free tier is enough to hear the quality but not to use anything, since downloads and commercial rights start at $16.99 a month. Choose it if you want those side tools under one subscription; if you only need songs, the larger generators it competes with are the safer bet.
Pros
- Free tier to test before paying, even if limited
- Extra tools beyond generation: song extender, voice cover, MIDI export, lyric writer
- Clear two-tier paid pricing with a commercial license on both
- One-time credit packs that never expire
Cons
- Company name and country are not disclosed in the terms
- Free tier and credit packs alone give no downloads
- Young product: the domain was registered in March 2026
Best for
- Creators wanting quick background or short-form tracks from a text prompt
- Hobbyists who want to turn their own lyrics into a demo
- Producers who want a MIDI export to keep editing in a DAW
Not for
- Anyone needing the free tier's output for commercial use, since it excludes downloads and commercial rights
- Buyers who want to know which company stands behind the commercial license
Watch out: Credit packs bought without a subscription do not unlock downloads or Pro models, so a pack alone does not get you a usable file.
