Turns documents, images and forms into structured JSON, with roughly 2,800 pretrained document types included
Base64.ai reads a file, works out what kind of document it is, picks a model and returns the fields as JSON. It covers more than 50 file formats and around 2,800 pretrained document types, and adds verification work most extraction tools leave out: PII redaction, signature checking and facial matching. A custom model builder handles document types it has not seen, and there is a no-code form route for people who will not touch the API. It deploys to cloud or on-premises with hundreds of RPA and software integrations. The company is Base64.ai, Inc. of New York, founded by Ozan Bilgen, with a second office near Istanbul; annual plans start at 1,000 pages a month.
No rate card is published. The pricing page names a base OCR tier described as one cent, with annual plans starting at 1,000 pages a month; everything above that is quoted after a demo. There is a free sign-up and trial.
Use tool βUnusually broad for a document extraction API: the pretrained model library means most common forms work on day one, and the verification add-ons cover the fraud and identity checks that usually need a second vendor. Deployment on-premises is a real option. What it will cost you is the open question, because the pricing page lists features per tier without any numbers attached.
Watch out: The tiers stack: OCR, Document AI and the advanced add-ons are separate purchases, so the entry tier alone does not give you the classification and model features the marketing leads with.
