Use tool ↗About Astrocade
Astrocade is two halves of the same site. One is an arcade of browser games with play counts in the millions and trending lists, free to play with no download. The other is a no-code builder where you describe a game idea in words and it produces something playable, with an Astro Academy learn section and an Earn tab for creators. Everything runs in the browser and games are shared as links. The site shows no prices, but its terms of service, run by Astroblox, Inc. of Los Altos, California, describe subscription and pay-per-use services, credit limits and a 7-day trial, and grant the company a perpetual licence to anything you build there.

Pros & cons of Astrocade
The loop is genuinely fun: type an idea, get something playable, share the link, and browse what everyone else made. The business behind it is now at least on paper — a named Californian company and real terms — but those terms describe paid tiers the site never prices and take a perpetual licence over your creations, so read them before investing time.
Pros
- Text-to-playable-game with no coding or downloads
- Large library of user-created games with visible play counts
- Creator tooling includes a learn track and an Earn section
- Free to both play and create as presented on the site
- Terms and privacy policy are now published and name the operator
Cons
- No pricing page, yet the terms describe subscriptions, pay-per-use services and credit limits
- The terms grant Astrocade a perpetual, irrevocable, transferable licence to your user-generated content
- AI-generated outputs and generic assets count as Astrocade content, not yours
- Games live only on the platform; there is no stated export path
Best for
- People who want to make a small game without writing code
- Casual browser gaming with friends, no install required
- Prototyping a game idea quickly enough to throw it away
Not for
- Serious game development that needs asset control, source access or export
- Creators who want to keep exclusive rights to what they build
Watch out: You own your game under the terms, but Astrocade keeps a perpetual, royalty-free licence to it and owns the AI-generated assets inside it — and paid tiers exist in the terms without a published price.
