Aragon AI vs PhotoPacks.AI

Aragon AI

Aragon is the most mainstream of the AI headshot services and the pay-once model beats renting a subscription you will use twice a year. The catch is that its posted prices are promotional and the refund policy evaporates the moment you download a photo — which is exactly when you find out whether the likeness worked.

Pros

• +One-off packs available alongside monthly plans, so a single shoot needs no subscription
• +Editor covers clothing, background, expression and upscaling after generation
• +SOC 2 Type II compliance stated, which matters for team photo uploads
• +Free reshoot offered before the refund route is used

Cons

• −Basic and Standard output is 896 x 1088, which is thin for print
• −Pack prices have jumped since the summer promotion: the entry pack is now $35
• −Refunds are conditional on not having downloaded the photos

PhotoPacks.AI

PhotoPacks.AI is a straightforward paid pass rather than a subscription: pay once, upload photos, get a batch of headshots back within the hour. The $24 price and money-back guarantee make it low-risk to try, though results still depend on source photo quality like every AI headshot generator.

Pros

• +One-time $24 price instead of a subscription
• +40+ headshots across ~20 styles delivered in about an hour
• +7-day money-back guarantee stated on the site

Cons

• −Output quality depends heavily on the 10 source photos supplied
• −No web-app editing of individual results described on the site
• −Teams pricing is not shown as concrete numbers
