What our research says

Anyvids

Anyvids is an aggregator: rather than training its own model it puts several well-known generators behind one editor and one credit balance, so you can compare outputs without paying five subscriptions. That is genuinely useful for creators who model-hop. The weakness is that an aggregator inherits every upstream limit, and this one publishes no company details and no readable pricing page.

Pros

  • Multiple generation models behind a single editor and credit balance
  • Covers image generation and editing as well as video, so one tool spans both
  • Motion transfer and character swap for reusing existing footage
  • Upscaling and talking-avatar generation included rather than sold separately
  • Watermark-free output cleared for commercial use on paid plans

Cons

  • Vendor pages are heavy client-rendered apps that yield no readable text to a fetch
  • No company name, entity or country published anywhere findable
  • Headline prices are annual-billing figures, so the real commitment is twelve months
  • Credit consumption per model is not published, making cost per video unpredictable

Runway

One of the few AI video vendors with a full pipeline — generation, editing, upscaling, API — rather than a single model demo, and its film-industry adoption is real. The catch is credit economics: high-resolution generations drain a month's allowance quickly, so the advertised entry price rarely reflects working costs.

Pros

  • Gen-4.5 delivers strong motion consistency and prompt adherence
  • Studio, mobile apps and API cover creation through delivery
  • Max tier exports ProRes and 16-bit HDR for professional finishing
  • Long operating history (since 2018) compared with newer video startups

Cons

  • Credit-metered pricing makes real monthly cost hard to predict
  • Premium models and formats sit behind the more expensive tiers
  • The free plan is effectively a one-time demo
