What our research says

Akkio

Once a self-serve no-code prediction tool, now an agency analytics platform sold only through a sales call — if you came expecting to upload a CSV and train a model on a card, that door has closed.

Pros

  • REST API and Python SDK are still documented for training and prediction
  • Domain agents map onto real agency workflows instead of generic dashboards
  • Referenced in production — it powers the Plus.AI media planning system at Mediaplus

Cons

  • No published pricing, no free tier and no self-serve signup
  • The general-purpose no-code framing carried by most catalogs no longer matches the site
  • Scope now assumes media-campaign data, so other use cases are off-message
  • Small company, with roughly $15M raised in total

Pecan AI

Pecan is for a marketing, sales or operations team that has clean transactional data in a warehouse and a clear question, and no data scientist to answer it; the batch-and-write-back design means predictions land where the team already works instead of in another dashboard. It is enterprise-priced and sales-gated — the last public list prices were in the high hundreds of dollars a month — so a small company or a team that wants to experiment for free should look at Akkio or a cloud vendor's AutoML first.

Pros

  • Automated data preparation, feature engineering and validation from raw tables
  • Predictions delivered as scheduled batches into databases, warehouses and CRMs
  • Native connectors for Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, Salesforce, HubSpot and ad platforms
  • Monitoring and alerts on training and prediction runs; SSO on every tier
  • No setup fee and vendor-led enablement on the Team and Business tiers

Cons

  • Prices were removed from the pricing page in July 2026; every tier is now a sales conversation
  • Plans are metered by prediction batches per month, which punishes frequent re-scoring
  • Use cases centre on customer and demand prediction; it is not a general modelling workbench
  • Site blocks automated access, so independent verification of claims takes a browser

Which one fits

Choose Akkio if you need

  • Media agencies wanting audience, strategy and reporting agents over campaign data
  • Teams needing propensity and media-mix modelling without a data-science hire
  • Agencies white-labelling analytics for their own clients

Choose Pecan AI if you need

  • Growth, CRM and operations teams forecasting churn, LTV, demand or lead conversion from warehouse data
  • Companies that want predictions written back into Salesforce, HubSpot or the warehouse on a schedule
  • Analysts who can prepare a dataset in SQL but have not built models before
