What our research says

Jasper

Jasper's case against a plain ChatGPT seat is governance: brand voice, style guide and product facts are enforced on every draft and shared by the whole team, and the Business tier turns that into bulk grids and custom agents. At $59 to $69 a seat it only pays off for a marketing team that ships a lot of on-brand copy; a solo writer gets most of the value from a frontier chat subscription at a third of the price.

Pros

  • Brand voice, style guide and knowledge base are applied to every output rather than pasted into prompts
  • Canvas editor, prebuilt agents and a browser extension cover drafting where marketers already work
  • Business tier includes API access, custom agent builder and bulk Grid generation
  • Named Delaware-style entity with public leadership, SOC 2 Type II and a 7-day trial

Cons

  • Pro ships with one seat and only 2 brand voices, 3 audiences and 5 knowledge assets
  • Business pricing is custom and locked to a 12-month commitment, with credit metering for GEO and agents
  • API access is Business-only, so developers cannot start on the self-serve plan
  • The page's structured data still describes a five-user Pro plan and a Creator trial that the visible page no longer offers

WordHero

WordHero's second version moves it from a menu of copy templates to a campaign workspace that remembers your brand voice and drafts an email, a post, an ad and an article together from one brief. Starter at $15 a month billed yearly is far below the old $49 entry plan, but every trial needs a card and the lower tiers ration projects, brand voices, keyword searches and image credits. Marketers already getting good results from a general chatbot with their own prompts gain less.

Pros

  • Starter at $15 a month billed yearly, well below the old $49 entry plan
  • Project memory keeps audience, offer and brand voice across every piece
  • A canvas generates a multi-channel campaign from one brief
  • SEO keyword research, content briefs and WordPress drafts in the same tool

Cons

  • The 7-day trial requires a card and converts to a paid plan unless cancelled before day 7
  • Starter covers 1 project, 1 brand voice, 20 keyword searches and 20 image credits a month
  • No public API found
